Gretchen Rydin for City Council
Logo Design
I was commissioned to create a logo design for Gretchen Rydin's campaign for the City Council position in Littleton, Colorado. The design would represent the campaign's core beliefs, Littleton, attract voters, and would be displayed on website, flyers, social media, and outdoor signs.
Keywords: accessible, affordable, real, authentic, warm, understanding, passionate, voice for the voiceless, community, connection.

Logo Design
Initially presented options a-e to narrow down design elements that resonated with campaign and with potential voters.
Research and survey results indicated voters found more emphasis on the name to be more appealing and clear.
Using the name and keeping the star element from previous designs, new options were presented with varying spacing and position of the star.
Options were narrowed down to A and B, now only focusing on the spacing of the letters and legibility.
